We booked Joey for our wedding having seen the testimonials online and listened to some of his music. Well, what a find! He was just what we were looking for and his style suited our taste perfectly. He was really responsive on email (which massively helps in wedding preparation madness), arrived promptly to set up and was really flexible and understanding when we had to move him around due to space issues. We had two live sets - one as background music during our afternoon tea and then one to kick start the evening. Both worked perfectly - he is a brilliant singer and musician. He then DJ'd for the rest of the night. What we loved best about Joey (apart from his performances, which were impeccable) was just how lovely and easy-going he was. Our wedding was a casual, small affair and it felt like Joey was one of our guests, which was just fantastic. He chatted to everyone between singing and DJing and everyone loved him! What a guy... I was surprised by my wife with a surprise 40th birthday garden party and half way through Joey turned up as another surprise. After a quick chat he was setting up and eager to get going in front of what was quite a lively crowd. I wanted to book a singer for my husbands surprise 40th bday party.. when I came across Joey and heard some of his music I knew straight away he was exactly what I was looking for! The interactions with him leading up to the big day were always super friendly and open and he even learnt a Michael Jackson song especially for the birthday boy! On the day, Joey turned up with the biggest smile, full of enthusiasm and got the party well and truly started! So even after a 2 hour trek from Nottingham to Liverpool. Joey Collins came and stole the show! He played a huge range of songs from across the decades ranging from The Beatles all the way to Britney! All of the guests thought his performance was amazing and did not want the night to end. Joey very kindly and quickly stepped in at the last minute after my original 40th birthday party entertainment unfortunately fell through. I can honestly say I wish I’d booked Joey to start with. Great communication throughout the lead up including agreeing songs for the setlist. Then on the night Joey turned up and absolutely smashed it - all my friends and family in the crowd went wild throughout, and I’ve had constant messages since about how good the night was. I think it says it all as I say a huge THANK YOU to you for making Saturday evening a great success. My sister-in-law had helped me by looking for a musician online, which would be ideal for my husband's surprise 50th celebrations in December and finding Joey did not disappoint. He was so much more than a guy with a guitar :) The choice of songs for our chosen sets was perfect for my husband and his music taste and Joey was fabulous at not only performing on the night, but his organisation of the whole evening with me beforehand, was second to none. Joey went above and beyond to accommodate everything I wanted, from playing the playlist I had created and allowing my daughter to sing a song to her father with a backing track. Many of our guests asked where I had found him as they thought he was a fantastic young man :) I would highly recommend Joey for a successful evening of music.
